The first learning module of the AMV Energy Learning Community<\/strong> is now live. Within this project, The Future acts as project lead and works together with partners from Flanders and the Netherlands on one clear challenge: helping companies train new technical employees faster and more effectively for the energy transition.<\/span><\/p>\n

Practical training for technical talent in the energy transition<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

The energy transition is increasing the demand for technical skills. At the same time, the role of energy technicians is changing. The technician of the future needs more than technical expertise alone. They also need to understand why the energy transition is necessary, how the energy landscape in Flanders and the Netherlands is developing, and which technologies will play a role now and in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

That is why AMV ELC is developing practical learning modules that support companies, training providers and employees in building this knowledge. The first module is an accessible introductory package consisting of 5 digital learning paths for the energy transition<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

First AMV ELC learning module: 5 digital learning paths<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

The first module offers a broad introduction to energy, climate change, the energy transition and relevant energy technologies. The module consists of the following learning paths:<\/span><\/p>\n

Learning path 1: What is energy?<\/span><\/h3>\n

An introduction to the basic principles of energy and their relevance within technical professions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Learning path 2: Climate change<\/span><\/h3>\n

An explanation of climate change and its connection to energy use, sustainability and societal change.<\/span><\/p>\n

Learning path 3: Energy transition<\/span><\/h3>\n

An introduction to the energy transition and its impact on companies, technology and the labour market.<\/span><\/p>\n

Learning path 4: Comparing the Flemish and Dutch energy landscape<\/span><\/h3>\n

A comparison of the energy landscape in Flanders and the Netherlands, including differences, similarities and the relevance of cross-border cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Learning path 5: Energy technologies: past, present and future<\/span><\/h3>\n

An overview of energy technologies over time and the role of new technologies in the further sustainability of the energy system.<\/span><\/p>\n

Start learning in the digital environment<\/span><\/h2>\n

These digital learning paths give companies and training providers an accessible way to introduce employees to the fundamentals of energy, climate and technology. This creates a practical first step towards broader employability, better training and future-proof technical skills.<\/span><\/p>\n
