The Future BV is the thematic leader within Circular Construction

We are proud to announce that The Future BV has been appointed by the Province of Limburg as the thematic leader for raw materials and material hubs within the Circulair Bouwen network. In this role, we are leveraging our expertise to accelerate the transition towards a circular supply chain ecosystem in the South of the Netherlands.

A New Approach to Materials and Supply Chains

Circular construction requires more than just reuse. It starts with rethinking raw materials: where they come from, how they are used, and most importantly, how we can better organise them. The current supply chain is designed linearly, fragmented, and unsustainable for the future.

The challenge ahead is clear:

• New business models;
• Scalable logistics; and
• Regional collaboration around material flows.

Our Approach

As thematic leader, we bring together partners, hubs, and pioneers to enable structural change. We are building sustainable, connected networks where materials circulate rather than disappear. This will lay the foundation for a resilient, circular construction economy in the region.
