Medior Innovation and Subsidy Consultant

Location: Eindhoven (City Centre / Strijp-S)Hours: 40 hours per week Are you an experienced Innovation/Subsidy Consultant ready for more than just writing excellent applications?You know the field, the regulations, and the application process, and you know you are ready for the next step. As a senior, you take charge. You will be involved early on, clarify the issue with the client, determine the financing strategy, and lead the process from intake to submitted application (and often: to the start of implementation). What will you do?

You will help companies and knowledge institutions realise their innovation ambitions by developing project plans, budgets, and grant applications. You ensure that ideas are translated into concrete, fundable projects.

In practice, this means that you will:

  • Analyse social and technological issues and translate them into promising projects.
  • Contribute to project structure, collaboration, and planning.
  • Independently prepare and coordinate grant applications and budgets.
  • Maintain contact with your own clients and business contacts.
  • Collaborate in consortia with companies and knowledge institutions.
  • Oversee projects until submission and, where necessary, the start of implementation.
  • Identify follow-up opportunities with existing clients.

You are responsible for your own projects and client relationships, and develop your skills in terms of revenue and/or team responsibility.

What you bring to the table

You are a Consultant who can work independently, provide structure, and take responsibility for your own projects. To be successful in your role, you bring the following experience:

  • 3–7 years of experience in innovation and subsidy consulting.
  • Completed higher professional or university education, preferably in innovation management, technical business administration, or a technical field.
  • Experience independently drafting subsidy applications.
  • Analytically strong and persuasive in writing.
  • Comfortable in client meetings and project meetings.
  • Able to manage multiple projects in parallel.

You identify commercial opportunities with existing clients and acquire them in collaboration with senior colleagues.
