Systemic Change in the Construction Chain: Circufin Has Been Submitted!

Accelerating the Circular Transition in Construction

In addition to our thematic leadership in raw materials and material hubs within Circulair Bouwend, The Future BV is proud to contribute to a broader circular future.

We are excited to announce that The Future BV played a key intermediary role in applying for OPZuid funding for Circufin—a bold and collaborative project aimed at driving systemic change in the construction sector.

The Challenge: Financing Circular Construction

One of the biggest roadblocks in circular building is financeability. If it cannot be financed, it cannot be built. Circufin tackles this challenge head-on by developing and testing new circular financing models in a Living Lab environment, involving every part of the construction chain.

A Strong Consortium Driving Innovation

Circufin is powered by a strong, cross-sectoral consortium including:

Leystromen, Avans University of Applied Sciences, Hendriks Construction and Development, Van Wijlen, Curtis Consulting, FD Architects, Kragten, and supported by Rabobank and de Houthallen.

Together, we are shaping a future where circular social housing is the norm, financially viable and scalable.
